hello.. I have 4months baby boy and he is exclusively on BM... can i take covishield vaccin??? If yes.. what precusion shld i take during feeding my baby

A. corona vaccine can be given to both pregnant women and breastfeeding mother. as per the recommendations mother can take any brand of vaccine which is available in the market for corona infection. also can continue breastfeeding if going on. also mother can go for breastfeeding immediately after vaccination and if fever and pain occurs mother can take paracetamol. the vaccine is totally safe

A. If You face any side-effect like body pain fever or any of the things which normally happens after taking the vaccination of Covid then you would be restricted to breastfeed the child till the time you do not recover yourself otherwise if you do not have a side-effect can you continue feeding
