Q.
Hello, I am only 1 cm dilated, will induction of labor lead to a normal delivery ?? or do I have to go for c section?? would like to know the possibility before making a decision. thank you

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist3 years agoA. depending on your pelvis n progress of labor. see with babies not all will be as per text. each baby has her own pace of learning n milestone s ok. so don't stress unnecessary.

during labor , your cervix will dilate to open up the birth canal .
the cervix opens and thins which allows for vaginal delivery.
but you need to stay in contact of your gynecologist,he or she can suggest what is right for you and your baby as he knows well about your health.
