Hello, I am mom of 7M old daughter and is covid positive. i am taking treatment for covid i.e. Azithromycin 500 1od 5days Paracetamol 650 1bd Vitamin C Zinc tab my question is that can I continue breastfeed my daughter while taking this treatment and it doesn't harmful to my child..?

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. it is not advisable to give breastfeeding to the baby is the mother of the baby is covid positive better take proper care even while touching the baby also like proper sanitation face mask etc

In General the doctors are saying that a mother who is Covid positive can definitely breastfeed the child that is not an issue because the breastfeed of your child is going to be healthy for your child and of course you should continue feeding the child it is not an issue
