Q.

Hello, I am a mother of 8 months old baby boy..recently i got covid so I didn't feed my baby for 15 days..Now,I am trying to feed him after recovery..But he is not taking my milk and also milk os not generating for me..At initial days of isolation I expressed milk outside due to heavy breasts..But now i am trying to express milk at least to feed my baby from bottle.But no use as i am not getting milk..Can anyone please suggest me some solution to get back my kid to take my milk and also how to generate milk again??

A. hi to increase your breastmilk supply, please offer plenty of feeds because the more your child latches, the more milk is produced. try different feeding position. make skin to skin Contact while feeding your child it will help to encourage your child to take more feeds. you can take leptadin tablet or shatavary granular with warm milk to increase your breastmilk supply.
