A. Covid vaccination like covishield/ covaxin in the breastfeeding mothers can be given very safely . According to the latest guidelines issued by healthy ministry pregnant women can also be now safely given the current available vaccines . so they can also register at covin app. Minor complications like fever lethargy pain at injection site can be handled safely by taking paracetamol . Presently children are not includedr in this list. Mothers can feed thteir child as soon as required after the vaccination very safely with no side effects in the child

A. Hello dear parent! As per the latest guidelines breastfeeding mothers are allowed to take covid vaccinations. Many mommies are getting their shots after consulting their doctors. Give a gap of 2 to 3 hours between vaccination and feeding. Good luck and take care.
