suryaMom of a 4 yr 8 m old boy3 years agoA. Hi dear,
Breastmilk is a boon for baby and is her right. Unless there is a medical reason for not providing little one with breastmilk, no one should try to stop it. WHO recommends breast milk till the age of 2 years minimum and there is no upper limit. Till the baby and mother are comfortable there shouldn't be any problem. Of course 6 months onwards you can start semi solids, increasing it slowly which automatically reduces her dependence on breast milk. Providing breast milk makes them feel secure along with providing them with loads of nutrients. Enjoy this phase and provide her breastmilk whenever and wherever she asks for it. Loads of love and take care.
