Q.

hello here is mother of 1 month 9 days old baby boy there is strange sound coming from the nose of baby. I m using nose drops since 15 days. plz advise

A. a doc advised me that chest is clear and use nosal drops. but it looks not so much effective

A. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination.d steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest. As a part of viral illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .
