Hello gynae.. Am breast feeding mother to 3.5 month old baby boy. Can I have contraceptive pill after unprotected sex. We went for a week before also. And this week too. Plz suggest.

shilpi BhandariMom of 4 children4 years agoA. Yes. Whether you are breastfeeding or not, birth control pills are meant to do their job, irrespective of the condition. Most of the pills work on those lines and offer a near 99% protection from pregnancy, even if you are breastfeeding.A,progesterone-only contraceptive pill is usually considered a better fit for a nursing mother.
