Hello everyone My baby having cough and cold She is a premature baby so her dr not given any medicine to her yet Please guide How to cure her cough

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough and Cold along with the so symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seasonal flu where most of the time supportive treatment is given.
along with that cough expectorant and decongestant fwith antiallergic medicine given.
steam inhalation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.

It will take few days but will get cured by its own in next few days if you want then you can give indirect steam with warm water twice a day it will give relief and condition. And if Dr advise not to give any medication then there is no need to give any medication to your baby and you have to wait for 2 to 3 days to cure it fully
