Q.

hello everyone, i want to know that whenever we go to a paediatrician for baby's fever.. they immediately give antibiotics with paracetamol .. but I had read many times that we should not give antibiotics too much as it affects the immune system of a child. so my question is when should we start antibiotics for fever??

A. No you are absolutely right I hundred percent agree with you because when you visit doctors to see and let me be very straight or all doctors advise you to go for antibiotics because if it is a normal fever they just refer you with a paracetamol and some precautions to be taken care of maybe some supplements like vitamins and also the child doesn’t lose its strength strength in the body antibiotic are usually given in the cases when they detect that there is an infection which is why your child is having fever so according to the kind of infection that they diagnose suggest you an antibiotic so if your child is having only fever no other issue then don’t give antibiotics unnecessarily
