Q.

Hello everyone i have a concern. My daughter had started standing on her own and almost taking two steps when asked to come, when she was 11 months old. what happened was, i got busy with some important things and I asked her caretaker to continue helping her in learning to walk on her own. She used to make her walk bu holding her hands. What has happened now is, she doesn't stand on her own. If i ask my daughter to come to me by taking few steps she just sits. I feel she is scared. if i try to make her stand on her legs, she just refuses. she keeps going on her knees. please guide how do I make her walk on her own again. I'm very worried and can't think of ideas. need the help/guidance of all the mothers and doctors as well

A. a baby will start Sitting with support by 6 months of age and by 7 to 8 months baby will sit without support than by 9 months usually baby crawls and in 10 months baby will stand with support. After 12 to 15 months baby will start Walking indepfendently and sometimes it may take even longer but in no case any Walker should be avoided as itvd can cause recurrent fall injury and delay in the walking because the child lacks confidence of walking independently.
