hello! Dr. what is DHA supplement??? can i take this supplement. my baby is 2month old.

A. Ideally, you should get about 1500 milligrams of DHA per week, preferably from foods that you eat. But if you are struggling to eat a well balanced diet, supplement your diet with additional DHA. Please consult your doctor before taking these supplements. Are you taking any prenatal vitamins? If you are taking, the prenatal vitamin already contains DHA. You can get DHA from fatty fish such as salmon, mackerel, herring, sardines and tuna, red meat, eggs, whole milk cheeses, green vegetables.
