Hello Dr, Wat causes sudden fever in kids ? Any home remedies for fever

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Fever is commonly seen in babies and mostly it's viral infection which is very common in children.
But if fever is high grade and persisting or assosiated with specific symptoms than other causes should also be ruled out .
Antipyretic like paracetamol or ibuprofen or mefenamic acid are usually given to reduce fever . Cold sponging with lukewarhcm water is also helpful .
Doctor consultation should be done if srymptoms like excessive irritability dullness loss of appetite less urine output is there .
