Hello Dr. My Son is 20days old and having Nasal blockage problem and Hourly giving Saline Nasal Spray.In this condition is it okay to give him Bath on alternate days?

Pls suggest In cold and cough bathing is okay for 20days baby or only sponge bath?
As at my place temperature is between 17-25 degree

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated .
Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine .
As a home remedy steam inhalation would be fyyvery useful .
Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .
Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .
