POOJA GOSWAMIMom of 2 children5 years agoA. Semi solid foods can be introduced in baby's diet between the age of 5-6 months as by then their immunity and digestive system develop a bit. You should start with fresh, home cooked foods like lentil puree, mixed vegetable soup, pureed apple and pear, ragi or sooji porridge, khichdi, etc. Cerelac should be given only once in a while for change if food as it contains artificial sugar which is not good for sti to emerge teeth. You can give rice or wheat any flavour.
