Hello Dr, My boy is 3 month old, I have started him on exclusive breastfeeding for the past 3 days from formula. His previous wt is 4.4kg , now also he is in the same wt. his urine output is 6 times. Is the fluid intake adequate considering no improvement in wt gain

Babies gain 400-900 gm per month, as you have started exclusive breast milk since 3 days continue for a week and check weight gain if gained 100-200 gm per week then no need to worry. Passing urine 6 -8 times a day is normal. Feed exclusive mother milk or formula milk every two hours,burp well after every feed.
