hello Dr my baby was 18mmths old frm three days during mornings his head temparature will b high am using syp pct 5ml plz prescribe any drops and let me know the cause

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. whenever fever is not improving with paracetamol you will have to see if the dosage of the medicine is given according to the weight of the child or not and if the power of the paracetamol is proper.
also if the medicine is older than one month after opening then better to buy a new bottled.
you have to give paracetamol and also do body sponge and keep the child in cotton clothes.
after 2 hoursx of paracetamol if the fever is is not improving then you can go for higher medicines like ibugesic or meftal p.
paracetamol can be given maximum four times per day.
