hello Dr. my baby is 5n half months he is having watery motions since yesterday, he is irritatable wat shud I give? I m giving him colicaid but still he is crying

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. if you are giving only breastfeeding then there is a possibility that slightly loose to semi solid stool may be present intermittently.
if you see that it is totally watery and also you are giving outside milk then it is advisable to get the child examined by the doctor to rule out any digestion problem or any infection.
need of probiotics (sachet superflorza gg once a day can be given) and zinc has to be evaluated.
in the meantime kindly continue breastfeeding to prevent dehsydration.
you can give ors also if water loss is more
if there is blood in the stool then kindly meet the doctor immediately because it can be dysentery also.

Sporolac Is the medicine for loose motions that you can give right now the other one that you are giving is for stomach pain also please check with your doctor they will help you with the right medication after diagnosing the issue that is behind the problem
