A. Hair loss in babies is very common and because of many reasons. Because of the withdrawal maternal hormone initial hairfall is there. After birth all the hair of the baby remain in the resting phase and usually by 8 to 12 weeks of age shedding of hairs is there . Hairs will grow back mostly by 3-7 months but a proper quality hair will be there by around 2 years of age. Cradle gf cap is also a cause for frequent shedding of hairs. along with traction alopecia begcause of continuous pressure on head in lying position

A. It is said that birth hair are temporary one so you do not have to worry about it once you get the head of your child shaved off after that you will see that they grow they certainly going to be much better and also you can go ahead with using a mixture of castor and almond oil that’s going to be very very goodWrite Your Answer Here
