Hello Dr my baby is 2½months and he is passing 10-12times watery stool and sometimes only water what to do? And also taking fingers in his mouth

Potty after Every Meal could be because of many reasons like some chronic infection which would be amoebiasis or indigestion or could be habitual also so it needs proper assessment to rule out the cause. but if tgmhe smell colour and consistency of the motion is normal and there is no other problem like fever or vomiting you should not worry for now . you can give probiotic darolac 2 times a day and consult doctor if problem continues.

shilpi BhandariMom of 4 children4 years agoA. hello mum if child is passing loose motions every time then this can cause dehydration to the babies it's better you should consult with the doctor for the proper medication and keep your baby hydrated by giving proper milk on the regular intervals
