Q.

hello dr my baby is 16 months old she is having vomit on monday night and fever 100 .. we give omendum for vomit and continue with calpol .. ryt now she is having no fever and also she is not taking any food now she cries and then pass the gas and also have loosemotion type stool. till now she has done 3 times what to do??

A. Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment also this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if fever is repeating. and you can also do cold sponging of the body if required vomiting may be because of some stomach Infection
