Q.

hello dr. . my baby is 13 month old its been one month she have learned to stand independently and also take one small step but today she refuse to walk and fall after one step when she would take two three small steps. . m worried pls help

A. walking with support will come any time between 9 months to 15 months of age. walking without support will come maximum by 18 months of age so before that there is no needd to worry and you have to just continue regular diet of the child( food made from cereals pulses fruits veggies milk) as well as baby massage and regular massage will also help in improving the muscle strength which will help in walkingd. regular encouragement for the child to walk

A. But that is completely normal a child can learn to walk independently by the age of 15 to 17 months so already if your child is trying that is good you should encourage your child but force your child your child will reach the milestone so do not worry about it
