Hello dr. .. my 3 months baby have a weight loss firstly my baby weight is 6 kg but now is 5.5 kg this is due to loose motion but now loose motion is okk and there is no problem of loose motion. please tell me what to do .. my baby is feeding through milk bottle πΌ.

It is normal for a child to get sick and lose weight...It gets back to normal for a while... You said your baby had loose motion due to which the water content in the baby decreases and weakness occurs...I recommend Aptamil Gold formula milk stage 1 for your 3 month old baby....Due to its ingredients, your baby's digestion will be good...through it your baby gains weight, his immunity power as well as brain power will be greatly developed...My sister-in-law's baby had this problem and i was also suggested Aptamil Gold formula milk stage 2 for her 7 month old baby....Soon she felt a great difference..This formula milk comes in three different stages according to the age of your baby...You can also start feeding this formula to your baby after consulting your doctor.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy1 Year agoA. it is quite common that during the illness there will be weight loss but as soon as the illness goes away weight loss will improve and weight gain will come into existence. the doctor will also give you zinc and supplements which will help in improving the weight loss

Teething could be one reason that your child could be having loose motions and when a child has loose motions a lot of water is drained from the body so your child may have lost a lot of weight but itβs okay now since the problem is not there in your child is okay taking proper feeding the weight is going to increase so donβt worry about it this is normal
