hello dr. meri baby 3 month ki hai, usko 15 din se halki bukhar aa rahi thi lekin kuch din pahle tej bukhar aane laga har 3 ghante me usko shardi bhi hai 15 dino se,blood and urine test normal h only xray me cough dikh raha h! to continuously high fever ka kya reason ho sakta h sir,iska kya ilaaz hai

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Cold most of the time is a viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be used once a proper evaluation by the doctor is done and according to the type of cough its prescribed.g
if any fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the temperature and the dose can be repeated again hyhafter 6 hours if required .
