A. For a 6-month-old baby, it's generally not recommended to introduce cow's milk as a primary source of nutrition. At this age, babies should be fed either breast milk or formula milk, as these provide the necessary nutrients and are easier for their digestive systems to handle. Cow's milk is not suitable for babies under 12 months because it can be difficult to digest and doesn't provide the right balance of nutrients that babies need at this stage. Additionally, cow's milk can pose a risk of iron deficiency and allergic reactions in younger infants. Once your baby reaches 12 months, you can start gradually introducing whole cow's milk alongside solid foods, but consult your pediatrician before making any changes to ensure it's appropriate for your baby's development.
