ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist3 years agoA. dear parent, your baby's weight gain has been slightly less. however if your baby is active, alert, passing urine more than 7 times in 24 hours, achieving all growth milestones, gaining adequate weight at least 500 grams per month then it indicates good health. for healthy weight gain, continue to exclusively breastfeed till 6 months complete. At one episode of breast feeding, feed from only one breast so that baby receives fat rich hindmilk which will help in weight gain.

You should definitely not worry about your babies weight if your baby is active and taking proper feed on time. Sometimes babies don’t gain weight while being up totally on milk. But once you start giving solids then baby will start gaining weight by on so don’t worry about it
