Hello dr. Can i feed mashed banana and cerelac for my 4 months 2days old baby boy. Baby current weight- 6.5kgs Kindly suggest.

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. weight is good, No other foods or fluids including water are not necessary till 6 months.
Exclusive breast feed your baby two hourly and on demand .
Breast milk is the recommended source of nutrition for infants, especially during the first six months of life.
Its better to wait till 6 months by that time baby's bowel will be mature enough to accept semi solid foods

it is exclusively breast feed recommended for six months..
then after completing six months you can start with solids for baby..
