hello Dr 5 year old child was given 400 mg metrogyl for dental infection ..is it safe to use?

If you have given it after consulting the doctor then I’m sure it would be safe only otherwise a doctor would have never advise you to go for it so if it is on Dr suggestion that you do not have to worry about it because they certainly have a much better knowledge about the sings En Veedu so just go ahead as per your doctors advice please
