Hello ! Does breast feeding mom’s caffeine intake in tea and coffee can hinder baby’s sleep pattern or cycle ?

A. Even caffeine consumption of more than 300 mg is unlikely to harm a baby. However, the CDC note that extreme caffeine consumption of more than 10 cups a day may cause symptoms in the baby, such as fussiness and jitteriness. Caffeine levels in breast milk peak 1–2 hours after drinking coffee. There are some babies that may be more sensitive to their mother's caffeine intake. This is much more common in babies under the age of six months. Often babies grow out of this sensitivity, becoming less sensitive as they get older
