Q.
Hello Doctors pls suggest!! Mom of 56 old. My girl at times sleeps 5-7 hrs straight at night and I also sleep at the same time without pumping the milk, my doubt here is can I feed the milk staight from my breast after 5-7 hrs without pumping.. or after 5-7 hrs I should pump and dispose the milk??? few ppl told me to pump and dispose the milk.. can you please help me with this????

Sleep pattern of small babies is very different and if the child is not having any discomfort or any cause like infantile colic ,nasal blockage or any kind of pain and if the child is playful and taking proper feeding so this pattern will get normal with time.just keep monitoring your baby for comfortable position and temperature. every baby has its own sleeping pattern ,only after 6 mons of age you can set a regular sleep cycle gradually with time n age. too much of light and noise may interfere, avoid any excess screen time, fix a regular time, do not allocow day time sleep , massage the feet of the baby for a relaxed and undisturbed sleep. gentle rocking and patting of the baby, singing a lullaby, and light music will also play a good role. lesser the noise and better the sleep.

Yes You can definitely feed the same milk to the child after 5 to 7 hours also you do not have to pump It it is not necessary that you keep pumping all the time and I don’t know why people are saying that you cannot feed it in the milk is into your breast it is not on the room temperature that it is going to get spoiled so don’t follow follow for all the things you can feel whenever your child is hungry even if it is after eight hours or five hours
