Q.

Hello Doctors, Greetings! I need this answer from doctors. My baby is 3 months old and I was not able to produce enough breast milk from the beginning so he was formula milk and now he is on cow milk (as per dr’s advise) We bottle feed him but as per dr, we should not use bottle at all, we can use spoon and bowl or nifty cup, but my baby dos not accept the feed from either of the above medium, he only likes bottle, please tell me is bottle really dangerous and why? How can I stop bottle if it is really not advisable? How to start with Nifty cup?

A. Bottle feeding can increase your baby's risk of choking, ear infections, and tooth decay. Your baby may also eat more than he or she needs. Do not put your baby to bed with a bottle. Milk can pool around the baby's teeth and this can cause tooth decay.
