Q.

Hello Doctors/Experts, My little one is having high fever since 3 days . We Consulted Dr and tests have been done and her Crp is 48.12 mg . Is it a sign of concern ? I'm really worried about her . Please give some suggestions.

A. Fever is when the temperature of the body goes above 99 degree fahrenheit and the safest medicine in such situation is paracetamol which can be repeated after 6 hours again if required in a proper dose . Aglternative mehidicine can also be tried if required like ibuprofen and mefenamic acid preparations. cold sponging of the whole body with tap water can be beneficial too to bring the temperature down .

A. good evening I would recommend you to try to discuss with your doctor he would be able to guide you better regarding what medication and treatment would be the best for the child
