Hello doctors….. can I make my baby wear a light cotton cap while sleeping in winters, she is 10 months old….. people say you should not make ur babies sleep with cap and socks on .. please reply

A. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much. If the baby is feeling cold then you can put cotton cap and socks otherwise no need if the baby is in a closed warm room. Try to keep the baby warm at all times. You can put thermal and warm clothes on baby. If the temperature is too low in your area then you can use heater. You can also give indirect steam to the baby twice a day. Bathe the baby with lukewarm water Thanks and take care
