Hello Doctor. what is cetrizine syrup used for I bought it for his rash which it were coming and disappears after sometime.

A. hi mam,yes ,this medicine is used to treat and prevent symptoms of allergies. it is also used to reduce itchy skin rashes and hives. But ,you can not give it without consulting your pediatrician. As a child is getting frequent rashes , proper investigation is needed. please visit your pediatrician. dress your child in Cotton clothes keep your child well hydrated avoid giving processed oily spicy food and citrus fruits for now. do not use any cosmetics.
