Q.
Hello doctor, please suggest what to do for the constipation. My baby boy is 11 months 12 days old having constipation from 3 to 4 months. he is completely on formula milk since birth. I am giving him papaya, oats, green vegetables and enough water also but still he still struggles in passing stool, sometime he didn't pass stool in a day. please suggest something.. what to do.. π

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 11 m old girl3 years agoA. it is com.in kid. Constipation is very common in toddler age as kids don't drink much water and just play . Just increase fibers and fruits in diet along with plenty of water will help in constipation . Other wise lactulose can be used if kid age is more than 2 yr .
