Hello doctor our child is 2 months old ,he is having cold & cough.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. nasal saline drops can be given again and again to the child because it is salt water which will help in decreasing the nasal blodckage by clearing the mucus
try to prevent temperature variations around the child which is the most common cause of cough and cold in small children.can give indirect steam inhalation .
anti-cold mdedicines at this age have got side effects so can be given only after medical consultation.
for fever and pain give paracetamol
continue the regular diet which is being given to the child

I would advise you to consult your paediatrician regarding this they will help you within appropriate medication that you should follow for the child along with that you should go ahead with giving steam and nebulisation to the child if it is required to go ahead with
