Q.

Hello doctor, My wife is two months pregnant and I have some doubts regarding the diet regime. Our consulting doctor said that i can feed my wife papaya and pineapple. But my mother's against it. Could you please provide me with a suitable diet plan. Thank you!

A. Avoid giving papaya as there is a phytonutrient in it which lead to uterine contractions abd in pineapple there is bromelin which leads to weight loss so that is the reason they are not recommended during pregnancy time

A. I’m actually thinking how your doctor has advised to go for papaya and pineapple because it can actually lead to early and labour and general which is why the doctors do not advisable. I would not suggest you to go for it because even my doctor restricted because she gave me a very valid reason behind it. Which is why I suggest you don’t go for it.
