Q.

Hello doctor,my toddler is 2 years old,she passed pale colored poop with mucus 3 or 4 times in a day.2 months back also she passed pale colored poop, I consulted a doctor he suggested anti biotic for 3 days after that she recovered but again she has the same problem,why it is happening again and again?is it problem of concern please help me

A. the child is suffering from acute gastroenteritis (either viral or bacterial) examination is needed by the doctor for need of antibiotics. can give probiotics like econorm / sporolac / enterogermina one to two times as per dr's recommendations. give easily digestible food. z ors to be given if loose motion is in more quantity to prevent dehydration and zensure adequate glucose level in the body.
