#asktheexpert my baby is 3 months old. I have 2 questions 1. pooping 3 times or 4 times a day is normal? 2. sometimes her poop colour is green and sometimes she has mucus on her poop. is it normal?

A. Yes pooping 3 to 4 times or even 7 to 8 times in a day would be considered normal in the current age of your child and green coloured motion is usually associated with formula milk and also it is generally common with kids but if the mucus can be seen continuously there would be no harm getting it checked with your doctor sometimes it could be due to an infection in the gut of your child
