Hello Doctor My son is just entering into his 6-month milestone. My milk supply is reducing. Can we introduce any solid foods to him? if so, what foods can be given to him? kindly advise please๐Ÿ™

A. No not now if your breastfeeding you should avoid having chocolate, spices,caffeine, citrus fruits and their juices, Avoid gassy foods too like cabbage cauliflower as it will trigger baby. Ensure not to add not much oil and spice. Avoid green tea and other heat foods. Avoud cold foods your baby should have completed six months for any other foods like water or juice or even any other food. This is because only milk provides all the necessary nutrients. And early solid foods will lead to stomach upset and constipation
