Q.

hello doctor.. my son is 4year old.. he is having very high fever.. I gave him paracetamol syrup.. but his fever is not going down.. today there is no doctor.. please tell me what can I do to reduce his fever

A. the first medicine will always be paracetamol and it is given according to weight and power of paracetamol medicine you are having. give liquids and easily digestible food and paracetamol should be given only after food. keep the child in cool environment and avoid using woolen clothes when the child is having fever armpit temperature of hundredd or more is considered as fever to body sponge to decrease the surface temperature and should bed carried out for at least 20 minutes with normal temperature water. higher medicines (ibugesic / meftal-p) whether required or not will be told by the doctor.

Crocin DS you can give as of now as per the current age and weight because it’s very important that the dosage should be given as per the weight of your child and also do corresponding as that also helps in reduction of the fever and temperature so that’s one thing that you can definitely do alongside
