Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. constipation in small babies is quite commonly seen and is more with babies who are fed with formula milk. Usually constipation of few days is considered as normal in babies below 6 months of age,you can give bonnisan drops 3 times a day to your child will and give frequent feeding, usually medicines or suppositories are to be avoided in such a case .if baby is having gasn gstric pain you can give collicaid drops.give proper tummy time and burping to avoid gastric trouble. In case of severe constipation of above one week you can give suppository but only under medical advice.
Sai Prasanthi R LMom of a 11 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. Hello dear parent! Exclusively breastfed babies might not be passing stools even for a week. As long as your baby is active and normal, passing adequate urine then nothing to worry. Continue breastfeeding. Give good tummy time everyday to aid in digestion. Regularly massage your baby with Babyhug cold pressed coconut oil.
