Hello doctor my son is 2 year old but he is not even talk n respond to us I also done with his bera hearing test that was ok but he even not respond to our hi bye etc. is it normal or he has any problem. otherwise he is very active, listen music with joy, but only problem is not talk and respond to us. he only respond to his name if called by me not even his father and say only papapapap... mamammama....not propaer mama papa...what should we do kindly suggest

A. hinj does he comprehend what you speak? does he communicate well with eye contact. if not better to consult paediatrician, speech therapist. encourage speaking, do not overcorrect his words, tell stories, regular conversations, asking leading questions, songs with hand gestures will help..

A. If you are in doubt speak to child psychologist. Otherwise try to play games, sing rhymes and try to talk to him while eye contact. See he is interacting with family members and asking for hid things. Moreover see if he is intimating the guestures and behaviour around him. If he is doing that then he must be slow learning child. Make sure you have stop exposing him to mobile. Sometimes too much screen time can lead to attention and speech delay.

A. he responds now little bit with eye contact means better than before but not completely make eye contact not respond to even his father if he calling his name only respond to me. but always respond and feel happy to see cars bikes scooter... but to do kindly suggest or everything is normal it takes time
