hello doctor my son is 10 months old he is suffering from high fever sometimes till 103°F since then he is on antibiotics and paracetamol its been 8 days days he has the same condition. please advice dr

A. dear doctor my son is 10 months old since 8 days he is suffering from 103 fever he is being given paracetamol and clauvin b since day 1 is this covid? bcos there is no drop in his temperature. other than fever no other symptoms only twice vomiting in 1 week please tell is it covid please

A. Fever is a response of the body to any kinhyd of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment also this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if again required and you can also do cold sponging of the body to reduce fever
