hello doctor my son have 96 days old and my friend son is 126 days old.they both are put fingers in to their mouth.my friend son is put two hands in to mouth.is it normal.how to prevent.

They put their fingers to sooth themselves. Give some toys or teether in hands and frequent wiping the hands to prevent any rashes.
You can also wrap some cotton rumal in both the hands. Slowly this habit will go away. Don't worry.

NikithaMom of a 10 yr 10 m old boy4 years agoA. hello baby putting hands or fingers is normal on babies at this age and is just that the baby is exploring its own body parts and it is just that you make sure baby does not replace fingers with the feed and you can also distract your child which shld be helpful too
