Q.

Hello Doctor, My son has completed 17months, still he is not walking independently, he is been scared. But good part is that he is walking by taking support, if we try to make him walk by holding one finger or encourage him to come near us, he will directly sit down. kindly tell us is it normal, or he has some issues?

A. by the age of 1 year the baby should start walking independently day but if it is not so then you can get the child checked by your pediatrician to rule out any other possible cause of delay
