Hello Doctor, My son has Adenoid problem,he is snoring,we had shown to ENT doctor,he suggested for adenoid removal surgery.Is this compulsory to remove it,I heard that while child grows to 9years,this will go.which one is correct, adenoid removal or wait for 8 to 9 years

If you want to wait till the age of 8 to 9 years you can I would not say that you cannot but honestly telling you there is no confirmation that it is going to settle on its own and then later you may have to go for a surgery I’ve seen it with my friends child Got she got operated by the time of 5 to 7 years only and the growth was amazing after that because the growth got hampered because of the problem which started becoming better over the period after the surgery
