A. Nuts and pulses are rich in protein. It is better to avoid giving protein supplements to the kids. But if you want to give, whey protein id mainly recommended by doctors. This is a water soluble milk protein which has the essential amino acids. Although protein powders are safe for the kids but their intake should be controlled. Ensure that whey isolate is present in the powder. Buy powders with fewer amounts of artificial sweeteners, choose a flavour that is easy to consume. Choose protein isolates over concentrates. Please consult your doctor for deciding the appropriate intake.
