hello doctor , My grand daughter is 2 month old. She passes stool which is blackish in colour. No other problem. Is it normal ?

ExpertDr.Rasika ThosarPaediatric Intensivist4 years agoA. hi , ziron drops , anything Black in foods , blood in stools ,stomach infection can lead to black stools , it's serious and needs urgent evaluation. consult with your doctor for examination and treatment for the same as soon as possible Maintain hydration and nutritious diet.

if your child looks happy healthy and active, gains enough weight,eat and sleep well then no need to worry about Motions frequency and it's texture.
please breastfeed your child as per his or her needs
maintain good hygiene
