Hello doctor, My Girl baby is 4months old is not passing urine frequently for a week can I start giving her water pls kindly reply

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. the frequency of urination should be more than 7 times in 24 hours and if it is less than that then kindly give breastfeeding on milk to the child and know you cannot give anything else except this

Your baby is totally on mother’s milk then you have to add more water in your regular diet plan it will help to keep your baby hydrated. Because mother’s milk contains high percentage of water which also fulfil the need of water in babies. So there is no need to give water to your baby now
